I'm Meredith DeBenedetto, a Reading Specialist with experience teaching social studies and English Language Arts to students from 1st grade to college seniors. I homeschooled my kids for three years: two on purpose, and one because of Covid. I started writing curriculum in 2001 at the University of Virginia’s Youth Leadership Initiative. As someone with ADHD and dyslexia, learning to read was a real challenge for me, and I’m passionate about creating curriculum that makes reading engaging and fun for everyone. I'm a mom to Maggie, Eli, Daisy May the sheepadoodle, and Franklin the cat. I love tacos, dogs, studying history, and reading books.
